Dispatcher

The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating the shipment of materials to various mills, maintaining communication with drivers, trucking company owners, dispatchers, and the mills themselves. This role requires excellent organizational skills to manage orders, track payments, and handle various tasks essential to the business’ operations.

Key Responsibilities

Order management

Writing bill of ladings

Communication with multiple people and businesses

Processing wire payments

Record keeping

Multitasking using different programs such as Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and various Google services

Qualifications

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Experience with dispatching, logistics, or related fields

Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and Google services

Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping

Ability to work in a fast-paced and mentally demanding environment

English required, Spanish preferred

High school diploma or GED

Certificate in bookkeeping or higher preferred
